About TRIPLO

TRIPLO is the next chapter of a driver-training/assessment career spanning more than 23 years.

My career began in England, where I worked as a paramedic and emergency driving assessor. I assessed emergency and core driving practices, trained and mentored student paramedics, and developed a strong understanding of vehicle control, road awareness, risk management and making good decisions under pressure.

Since 2016, I have been teaching learner drivers in Cairns, Queensland. In that time, more than 3,100 lessons have been completed through EzLicence alone, with thousands more taught independently.

That experience is reflected in my EzLicence record, including a 4.9/5 rating from 183 student ratings, along with recognition as a Top Instructor and High Demand instructor. EzLicence describes my instruction as patient, professional and supportive — qualities that remain central to the way I teach.

My assessment experience also extends to PCYC driver assessments, where I assess prospective participants for enrolment in the Braking the Cycle (BTC) program. This involves evaluating their driving ability, road awareness, attitude and readiness to participate safely in the program, ensuring they have the foundational skills and understanding required before commencing the driving program.

From Advance Driver Training to TRIPLO

For many years, I operated under the Advance Driver Training name. That business established the foundation for what TRIPLO is today.

TRIPLO is the evolution of that experience into a fresh, modern identity, with DriveCairns™ representing our focus on professional driver training in Cairns.

The name and branding have changed, but the philosophy hasn't.
